In Sevastopol, specialists continue to cover the windows of city social facilities with special protective film. This is one of the security measures that was approved during an emergency session of the Legislative Assembly.

It is clear that the primary task is the safety of our children, therefore, window pasting is carried out in kindergartens, schools and colleges as a priority. A special polyurethane film with a thickness of 200 microns, protection class 4K, is used for pasting windows. Such strength provides protection from a blast wave and can withstand serious mechanical loads. In fact, even if a crack appears on the glass, the fragments will remain on the film and will not fly apart, which means there will be no risk to health.— the press service of the governor quotes Mikhail Razvozhaev.

To date, work has been completed in six preschool institutions: kindergarten #2 on Nikolaya Muzyki Street, the center for helping children left without parental care «Our House» on Kulakova Street, kindergarten #74 on Sofya Perovskaya Street, kindergarten #17 on Nazukin Embankment, kindergarten #103 in Kacha, and the educational center «Kazachya Bay». Work on the remaining facilities continues.
