In Simferopol, the court found him guilty under CC. 2, 3 tbsp. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud) of a 41-year-old local resident.
The court found that from December 2020 to June 2021, a man, under the pretext of selling spare parts for expensive cars, without any real intentions to fulfill his obligations, took possession of the funds of three victims in the amount of about 350 thousand rubles— reported the prosecutor’s office.
The court, taking into account the opinion of the state prosecutor, sentenced the man to 3 years in prison. He will serve his sentence in a general regime correctional colony. The sentence has not entered into legal force.
