In Simferopol, the prosecutor’s office supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a 30-year-old resident of the Tula region. He was found guilty under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 1 art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder).
The court found that at the end of August 2023, after drinking alcohol out of jealousy, the convict struck the victim several times with the edge of a kitchen ax on the head, body and limbs, causing an open fracture of the cranial vault, traumatic partial amputation of a finger, multiple chopped and incised wounds to the head and body . The man was unable to complete his criminal intent due to timely medical assistance.— said the prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea.
The Kiev District Court of Simferopol, taking into account the opinion of the state prosecutor, sentenced the man to 7 years in prison. He will serve his sentence in a maximum security penal colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
