In Simferopol, a suspect in a robbery attack on minors was detained without delay

A 41-year-old local resident, working as a social teacher in one of the city’s educational institutions, contacted the Simferopol police with a statement about a robbery against her charges, 9th grade students.
The woman said that at the moment when the schoolchildren were returning home, an unknown young man approached them and, under the threat of using an object similar to a knife, stole 2 mobile phones. The total damage amounted to 22 thousand rubles. As a result of operational-search activities, employees of the criminal investigation department of OP No. 3 “Central” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Simferopol, without delay, identified and detained the suspect. He turned out to be a 19-year-old local resident who confessed to his crime. During the search of the suspect, police seized mobile devices and returned them to their rightful owners.— the details of the case were announced in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Crimea.
