A 60-year-old resident of the city applied to the police department of Simferopol with a statement about the theft of expensive eyeglasses. The woman told police officers that, due to her own inattention, she left her glasses on the table in one of the government agencies when she filled out the documents. The amount of damage amounted to about 25 thousand rubles.
As a result of operational-search activities, the employees of the criminal investigation department of the OP No. 2 «Kievskiy» of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Simferopol identified the suspect. She was a 66-year-old local resident. The woman was arrested by police officers and taken to the police station.
