In Simferopol, a two-level interchange at the intersection of the street is being repaired. Kuibyshev and Bypass Road

In Simferopol, a large-scale reconstruction of the two-level interchange at the intersection of Kuibysheva Street and Obezdnaya Road continues. The customer is the State Public Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Road Service of the Republic of Crimea», the contract amount is 81 million rubles.

The repair of the interchange, which is a key transport artery of Simferopol, is planned to be carried out in two stages. Currently, road workers have successfully completed the first phase of work, dismantling the old structural elements and preparing the bridge deck for restoration. The next stage will be the repair of the span slab, ensuring the strength and durability of the entire interchange. After this, they will begin installing barrier and railings that will ensure traffic safety, and the final stage will be laying a new asphalt concrete pavement.— said the Ministry of Transport of Crimea.

During repairs, vehicle traffic is organized along the second half of the bridge according to a temporary scheme, ensuring the continuous functioning of traffic flow.

The reconstruction of this junction is of exceptional importance for residents of Simferopol and surrounding areas. It will not only reduce the travel time from the Simferopol district to the city, but will also improve the accessibility of the State Budgetary Educational Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Water Sports School”, which is very popular among residents of the city and region, providing the opportunity to engage in water sports for young Simferopol residentsemphasized the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Crimea.

In total, about 6 billion rubles have been allocated for the implementation of the national project “Safe Quality Roads” in Crimea in 2024. 53 objects are planned, including 28 highways with a length of more than 200 km, 25 bridges and bridge structures.
