«Mama» will pay a fine.
The Central District Court of Simferopol issued a verdict in a criminal case against a 31-year-old resident of the Simferopol district. She was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 241 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organization of prostitution).
The court established that the defendant, for the purpose of material enrichment, in May 2022 became a member of a criminal group that was organizing prostitution in the city of Simferopol. The woman negotiated with clients for the provision of intimate services, kept records of funds received from these activities— reported the prosecutor’s office.
In relation to other participants in the crime, the criminal case has been separated into separate proceedings, and a pre-trial investigation is being conducted.
The court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, sentenced the woman to a fine. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
