On May 25, on the International Day of Missing Children, an alley of birches appeared in the Simferopol Children’s Park. The action was carried out by the search and rescue team «LizaAlert Krym», with the support of the head of the administration of Simferopol Mikhail Afanasyev, the municipal institution «Parks of the Capital», the Investigative Committee and members of the Children’s Administration of the Crimean capital.

This action is held throughout Russia in order to draw attention to the problem of missing children. Indeed, the disappearance of children is a problem that requires special control. It’s up to us to be more careful! On this day, an alley of birches was planted, dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Missing Children. For the entire period of the existence of the detachment, 431 applications for the search for minors were received. There are no missing children in Simferopol and Crimea— Ivan Zuyanov, regional representative of the LizaAlert PSO in Crimea, commented.

Volunteer search and rescue team «LizaAlert» in the Crimea began its activities in 2018. The team is looking for missing people. All search activities are organized by the volunteers of LizaAlert Crimea free of charge. Today, the detachment has more than 300 people and is represented in most major cities of the peninsula. The detachment has 25 areas, whose activities are focused on the most effective response to each search request, including: coordinators, infogis, signalmen, cartographers, registrars, the LizaAlert school, unmanned aircraft and others.
