In Simferopol — an exhibition of the photojournalist of the Crimean Newspaper Mikhail Gladchuk «Crimea: in the previous series»
Krympress reports:
February 8, 2025 in Simferopol, in the lobby «Gallery» of the library named after I. Ya. Franco, the opening of the personal exhibition of the photojournalist of the Crimean newspaper Mikhail Gladchuk “Crimea: in the previous series” took place.
The exposition presents the author’s works over the past five years, reporting photographs in which Mikhail captured people of labor, touching human stories and vivid moments in the life of the peninsula: from the construction of the bridge and mosque to covid departments and the consequences of arrivals.
In a welcoming speech, Mikhail spoke about his work as a photojournalist, during which he was able to visit the construction of the most important facilities, visit the “red zone” of the covid department and capture many other important events not only for Crimea, but for Russia, and even the whole world.
Friends and colleagues came to congratulate and support the author, expressing words of gratitude for the emotions received from the exhibition. The opening was attended by many Michael-Parates, since he is not only a photographer, but also a writer who writes poetry and prose. This solemn event was decorated not only by photographs, but also by the improvised, impressive performance of the authors, among whom were poets: Ravil Valeev, Denis Pleskachev, Anna Ognivets, Elena Malinina, Veronika Gafarova and others. Mikhail Gladchuk gave all the guests his books with an autograph and copyright stickers.
At the end of the solemn part of the event, everyone was able to chat with the photographer personally, ask questions of interest, as well as to take a joint photo as a keepsake.
The exhibition will last until the end of February 2025.
