In Simferopol, at the weekend, employees of the State traffic inspectorate removed 14 drunken drivers from driving vehicles

From July 25 to July 27, 2025, the traffic police conducted an operational-preventive event under the conventional name “drunk driver”. Raids were carried out in order to reduce the level of accident rate, the prevention of accidents with the participation of drivers who are intoxicated.

Auto inspectors conducted conversations with drivers about the need to report information about persons sitting or intending to drive intoxicated to the State traffic inspectorate, explained the consequences of traffic accidents with the participation of drunk and presented thematic memos.

During the development, 14 facts of driving vehicles were suppressed in a state of intoxication or refusing a medical examination.

The traffic police recalls that the management of the vehicle in a state of intoxication entails an administrative punishment — a fine of 45,000 rubles, with the deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of one and a half to two years, with the repeated commission of this administrative offense, criminal liability undersile under Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code.
