CrimeaPRESS reports:
At the request of the prosecutor’s office, a criminal case was initiated on an attempt to take possession of the property of an enterprise in Simferopol.
It was established that on the basis of fictitious loan agreements, the attackers created an artificial debt of the enterprise in the amount of more than 11 million rubles, intending to take possession of the property of the victims in return for its repayment. On this fact, the police decided to refuse to open a criminal case.
Since the audit materials contained sufficient grounds for initiating a criminal case, the city prosecutor’s office canceled the decision of the preliminary investigation body as illegal and unfounded. At the initiative of the prosecutor’s office, a criminal case was initiated under Part 3 of Art. 30 h. 4 tbsp. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted fraud committed on an especially large scale)— reported in the Crimean prosecutor’s office.
Currently, it is under investigation, the course of which is controlled by the city prosecutor’s office.
