In Simferopol, “emergency exercises” took place at the Republican Children’s Infectious Diseases Hospital

On March 27, in Simferopol, at the Republican Children’s Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital, fire-tactical exercises of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia were held at the 3rd rank of complexity. According to the “legend” of the exercise, the fire occurred as a result of a short circuit in the electrical wiring in the staff room on the 3rd floor.
The fire front spread throughout the entire room, creating a threat of fire spreading to adjacent rooms. There is smoke on the floor and adjacent rooms. The fire is accompanied by intense heat flows and heavy smoke— the emergency department outlined the conditions for the training.
The hospital management processed the transmission of information about the fire by calling 101, and took measures to organize the evacuation of patients and staff in the building. Also, employees practiced extinguishing the fire using primary fire extinguishing agents.
Upon arrival of the first combat crews, it turns out that there are 2 victims in the building, and the fire area is 30 square meters. meters.
The fire extinguishing manager organized the supply of 5 guns for extinguishing and protecting adjacent premises. GDZS units carried out reconnaissance of smoke-filled premises, found hypothetical victims and handed them over to emergency medical personnel,” noted the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Crimea.
All assigned tasks were completed in full. A total of 67 personnel and 18 pieces of equipment took part in the exercises.
