In Simferopol over the weekend, State Traffic Inspectorate employees will identify drunk drivers

From October 25 to October 27, 2024, the State Traffic Inspectorate of Simferopol will hold a preventive event “Drunk Driver”. All drivers driving through areas where the “sobriety corridor” passes will be subject to a check for intoxication.

In accordance with the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, for driving while intoxicated, administrative liability is provided in the form of deprivation of the right to drive a vehicle for a period of one and a half to two years and a fine of 30 thousand rubles. For a repeated violation, the driver will face criminal liability.

The State Traffic Inspectorate reminds: a person who gets behind the wheel while intoxicated poses a danger to all road users.
