Every day, employees of the institution «Parks of the Capital» carry out maintenance and upkeep of green spaces in the city’s parks and squares. This was reported by Galina Fomina, a public relations specialist at the MBUK «Parks of the Capital».
In Simferopol, planned work on the care and maintenance of green areas is actively carried out. Currently, in the city’s green areas, formative pruning of ornamental trees and shrubs is underway. Thus, in the Trenyov Park, specialists are working on junipers and a hedge of mock orange. And in the Yuri Gagarin Park, the crowns of cypresses are being trimmed, giving them spectacular shapes in the form of geometric figures and animals, and spherical whole-leaf willows are being formed, located around the pond.
Special attention is paid to green spaces and flowers. Every day, watering, weeding and loosening of the soil in the flower beds are carried out, as well as removing undergrowth, which helps maintain the aesthetic appearance of parks and squares.
In addition, workers also maintain the technical systems of the parks. For example, the Children’s Park is currently undergoing repairs to lighting fixtures, including replacing bulbs on lampposts and spotlights in the Tabletka skate park.
These events emphasize the importance of maintaining cleanliness and comfort in public spaces of Simferopol, creating comfortable conditions for recreation for city residents and guests of the capital.
