The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea held an award ceremony for two teenagers. The head of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Simferopol, Police Colonel Sergei Nikolaev, expressed gratitude to Yelisey Patskov and Yegor Kondratenko for their active participation in protecting law and order and helping the police solve a serious crime. Sergei Vasilyevich separately thanked the parents for the worthy upbringing of the younger generation. The children were presented with letters of gratitude and useful gifts.
The police received a report from a 15-year-old local resident. He and his friend, while on public transport, saw an unknown man handing white powder to another man, after which they both got off at a bus stop near one of the shopping centers in the city of Simferopol. As part of operational and investigative activities, police officers identified and detained a 38-year-old local resident. During a personal search, 39 packages with a white powdery substance weighing more than 31 grams were seized from the suspect. According to an expert’s conclusion, the seized substance is the synthetic narcotic substance N-methylephedrone— the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Crimea noted.
Thanks to the active civic position and timely response of the guys, the police solved a serious crime.
