In Simferopol, municipal services have begun cleaning the Salgir River bed. This was reported by the head of the administration of the Crimean capital, Mikhail Afanasyev. The work is being carried out downstream — from the urban-type settlement of Komsomolskoye.
We have begun cleaning the bed of the Salgir River together with colleagues from the State Committee for Water Management and Land Reclamation of the Republic of Crimea.
We started from SNT Energetik, we will continue cleaning further along the riverbed — to the urban-type settlement Komsomolskoye. As I already said, there are problems with access to some sections of the river. Together with colleagues, a solution was found, which means the riverbed will be cleared of garbage, alluvium, branches– said Mikhail Afanasyev.
