In Simferopol, the youth flash mob «Russia — Cuba» was held

The deputy chairman recalled that in May Russia and Cuba celebrated the 65th anniversary of the restoration of diplomatic relations.

Over the past decades, a truly fraternal union has developed between the countries, based on friendship, respect and the desire for joint development, laid back in the Fidel Castro era. I am very pleased that our Crimean patriotic youth is actively involved in folk diplomacy. As evidence of this, the participation of Crimean students in the All-Russian competition of student design works on the topics of Russian-Cuban relations and the role of public diplomacy in their development, which was dedicated to Che Guevara and Gagarin. The competition was held in the framework of the project “Relay of the first“ Gagarin-Che Guevara ”: on the 60th anniversary of the Russian Friendship Society with Cuba.” The results were summed up in May. Of the 200 works from 20 regions of the country, 120 applications were submitted from the republic and 10 became winners.
