In Simferopol, they are trying to deal with ragweed. Utility workers are asking for help from city residents

The fight against the quarantine plant, ragweed, is actively continuing in Simferopol. This was reported by Ivan Lisechko, head of the improvement department of the city economy department.

Specialists have begun the second stage of work to eliminate ragweed, which includes the following:

• mowing and weed collection;
• treatment of territories with chemical composition.

Currently, work is being carried out in the Kamenka, Beloe-4, Beloe-5 microdistricts, as well as on Marshal Zhukov Street.

In case of detection of ragweed outbreaks, citizens are advised to contact the Department of Municipal Economy of the Simferopol City Administration.

We ask city residents to assist city services in identifying ragweed. Joint efforts will help make Simferopol cleaner and safer for all citizens— notes Ivan Lisechko.

Measures to combat ragweed are carried out with the aim of improving the ecological situation in the city and preventing the negative impact of this weed on the health of Simferopol residents and guests of the capital of Crimea.
