In Simferopol, they honored the memory of a policeman who died in the line of duty

The head of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Simferopol, Sergei Nikolaev, and the Chairman of the primary organization of veterans at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Simferopol, Nikolai Lopatin, honored the memory of Sergei Kuzmich Bespalov, who died in the line of duty.
Sergei Kuzmich went through the entire war, was twice awarded the Order of the Red Star, the Order of the Patriotic War 1st degree, medals “For Military Merit”, “For the Defense of Sevastopol”, “For the Defense of the Caucasus”, “For the Capture of Budapest”, “For the Capture of Vienna” .
Every day Sergei Bespalov risked his life in the service. He was a man with a big heart. One day, a woman who had become a victim of criminals approached him. Without delay, police captain Sergei Kuzmich rushed after the criminals, one of whom was detained. He took the caught criminal to the nearest police station. Sergei Bespalov received a sharp stab in the back from a third criminal. Sergei Kuzmich died from loss of blood— said the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
In honor of the celebration of Victory Day, flowers were laid at the monument to Sergei Bespalov, located on the street named in his honor.
