Over the past 24 hours in Simferopol, more than 80 complaints from citizens regarding fallen branches and trees were received. According to the administration of the Crimean capital, 27 applications were eliminated during the night shift. Also at night, 12 units of specialized equipment sprinkled sections of the road network with anti-icing material. Since the morning, crews from the Municipal Budgetary Institution “City” have been cutting and eliminating fallen trees.
Currently, cutting and removal of fallen branches and trees is being carried out along Dmitry Ulyanov Street. About 10 teams of municipal institutions are working to eliminate citizens’ complaints about fallen treesnoted the city administration.
Nikolai Konovalov, director of the municipal budgetary institution Gorsvet, said that the city has 7 teams involved in eliminating emergency situations on power supply networks.
Of course, the main topic on the agenda today is the consequences of storm winds and precipitation. The situation in the city is stable. All city utilities have been transferred to enhanced operating mode. I have instructed the relevant services and structures to eliminate the consequences of bad weather by the end of the current day.said the head of the Simferopol administration, Mikhail Afanasyev.
