In Simferopol — vernissage of the personal exhibition “The Road Home” by artist Nuri Yakubov

In Simferopol, in the Crimean Republican Universal Scientific Library named after I.Ya. Franko hosted the vernissage of the personal anniversary exhibition “The Road Home” by the Honored Artist of the Republic of Crimea, member of the Union of Artists of Russia, the Association of Crimean Tatar Artists Nuri Yakubov.
Each work presented reflects a love for the past and present of the peninsula. In the artist’s paintings, the old Crimea visibly comes to life. Cozy courtyards entwined with roses and grapes, mosques and residential buildings introduce you to the features of ancient architecture and culture.said the organizers of the vernissage.
The author of the exhibition spoke about his creative path, the works presented, and the meanings that he put into the exhibition. Nuri Yakubov donated the painting “In Koreiz” to the library.
REFERENCE: Nuri Fakhrievich Yakubov is an Honored Artist of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, the Association of Crimean Tatar Artists. Author of more than 1,500 paintings, creator of an ethnographic house-museum in Old Crimea, participant in 150 exhibitions and auctions in Switzerland and Turkey. Lives and works in Stary Krym.
