In Simferopol, youth organizations join forces to clean up the aftermath of the hurricane

Youth organizations, in particular Russian student groups, took the initiative and created labor teams to assist municipal services of the city of Simferopol in cleaning up the consequences of the hurricane that hit the peninsula on November 26-27.

Students and youth activists got to work clearing residential yards, park areas, pedestrian paths and roadways of fallen trees and large branches.

Vladimir Kaidansky, head of the Crimean regional branch of Russian student groups, expressed her pride and support for this initiative:

We came together to quickly put the city in order and minimize the impact of the natural disaster on the normal rhythm of life in the city. This is not the first time that the guys have been participating in such labor initiatives, and this is an excellent example of unity and willingness to help our city in difficult times.

The work schedule of the work teams was developed in such a way that the children could combine study with volunteer work, working two shifts from 9 to 13 and from 13 to 17.

Russian student teams have been conducting labor landings on the territory of the Republic of Crimea for several years now as part of the All-Russian patriotic action “Snow Landing of the North Ossetia”, within the framework of which they help in the improvement of settlements and municipalities in the territory of Crimea, so the guys responded very quickly to the formation of labor teams in within the framework of this labor initiative.

To date, two detachments of the “Snow Landing” have already begun work, each numbering 20 people, the guys work together with the municipal enterprise “Parks of the Capital of Crimea”, and also interact with the operational headquarters of volunteers of the State Committee for Youth Policy of the Republic of Crimea in order to work out incoming requests. applications from utility services.
