In the Bakhchisarai region, a criminal investigation has been completed against a bailiff

In the Bakhchisarai region, the investigation of the criminal case initiated against the former bailiff of the regional branch of the FSS bailiffs has been completed. As reported by the Investigative Committee, an official of the federal executive body carrying out the functions of executing judicial acts is accused of a number of episodes of official forgery and abuse of power with grave consequences (Part 1 of Article 292, Part 3 of Article 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) when organizing the execution of administrative penalties.

The investigative department for the Bakhchisarai region found that the bailiff, in order to lighten the load while simultaneously increasing the effectiveness of his work, for two years from November 2020 illegally exempted from compulsory work citizens held administratively liable by the court. The official entered information that did not correspond to reality in the report cards about the participation in socially useful work of citizens brought to this type of responsibility. In a number of cases, she asked officials of local institutions designated for serving offenders of this type of punishment to provide such information. Based on falsified documents, the bailiff issued 17 decisions to terminate enforcement proceedings without actual execution— reported in Sledkom.

The criminal activities of the official were revealed by operational officers of the Russian Federal Security Service for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol and the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.

The accused partially admitted guilt in committing the incriminated crimes, but it is fully confirmed by the totality of the collected evidence. The preliminary investigation body assessed the actions of the accomplices who entered false information into the accounting documents.

The criminal investigation has been completed. The materials were sent to the prosecutor’s office for the purpose of studying, signing the indictment and sending the case to court.
