A pair of overseas pets appeared in the Bakhchisaray Park of Miniatures — rare large red kangaroos. According to the founder and head of the park, Viktor Zhilenko, these are the largest of the kangaroo species, the largest mammals in Australia and the largest of modern marsupials. According to the director of the park, these kangaroos are a very rare species and not every zoo in the world can see them.
We have been looking for a suitable couple for a long time and finally we have built a bridge of friendship between the Crimean animals and the Australian ones. Animals are now accustomed to our conditions. I think that the Crimean air will benefit them. Let’s hope that they will acquire offspring, which will already become «indigenous» Crimeans. Of course, kangaroos themselves keep their distance from people, but they also do not show open aggression either. You can see them in the Bakhchisaray Miniature Park, they are really funny animals.— said Zhilenko.
