In the Black Sea Higher Naval Order of the Red Star School. P.S. Nakhimov in Sevastopol — graduation

From the walls of the school. P.S. Nakhimov this year graduated lieutenants and 32 midshipman.

Most of you have decided to pursue a military career. It deserves respect! You have military service ahead of you in your first positions. I sincerely hope that everything will work out for you. Emperor Alexander III once said: «Russia has only two allies — its army and navy.» Now you are the hope of Russia! We are proud of you! — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the governor of the city Mikhail Razvozhaev.

The graduates were also congratulated by the commander of the Black Sea Fleet Igor Osipov, Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Vladimir Nemtsev, State Duma deputy Tatyana Lobach and others. Mikhail Razvozhaev stressed that the assignment of the first officer rank is an important and responsible day in the life of graduates. The governor thanked the command of the Black Sea Fleet and the teachers who prepared the replenishment of the fleet.

During the ritual of promotion to officers and midshipmen, Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev presented the graduates with epaulettes and daggers. After the assignment of military ranks, the ritual of farewell of graduates with the Battle Banner of the school took place.

In memory of the defenders of the Great Patriotic War, the participants of the event laid flowers at the Memorial Complex to the cadets and teachers of the school who died during the defense of Sevastopol 32-1942 y.y.

After the completion of the first officer leave, lieutenants and midshipmen will start serving on ships and in parts of the Navy in the Northern, Pacific, Baltic, Black Sea fleets and the Caspian flotilla.
