In the city of Saki, operatives immediately uncovered two facts of misappropriation and embezzlement

The Saki city police received statements from private entrepreneurs about identified facts of shortage of funds and goods. The store owner suffered damage of 580 thousand rubles, and the owner of a retail outlet selling lottery tickets suffered more than 127 thousand rubles. The police identified the suspects in embezzlement and misappropriation. The women “distinguished themselves.”
A 50-year-old local resident, who worked for a long time in the victim’s store, embezzled other people’s money, as well as goods from the store, by canceling cash receipts. A 58-year-old Sakchan woman pleaded guilty to embezzling money from the sale of lottery tickets.— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
Criminal cases have been initiated under Parts 2 and 3 of Art. 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Misappropriation or embezzlement.” The sanction of the article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for a term of up to six years.
