In the Cossack Bay, a man broke off a cliff

The local resident who fell from a cliff about 13 meters high was assisted by Sevastopol rescue service specialists. At the scene, the shift of the search and rescue unit «South» was sent to the scene. Upon arrival of rescuers, it was found that the victim received serious injuries — a fracture of his hand and a stupid abdominal injury.

The terrain significantly complicated the conduct of rescue operations: a steep slope with a rocky surface and unstable soil required the use of special climbing equipment. Working harmoniously, rescuers provided first aid, gently transferred the victim to a stretcher and raised to a safe place.

At the top, a team of ambulance was already waiting for him, which took him to the hospital.

The rescue service of Sevastopol reminds all residents and guests of the city of the need to observe security measures: do not come too close to the edge of the cliffs — the soil can be unstable, and also choose exceptionally tested and safe routes for hiking.
