In the Crimea, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia completed inspections of polling stations

On September 8-10, by-elections of a deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation in the single-member constituency of the Republic of Crimea — Simferopol single-member constituency No. 19 will be held in Crimea. Along with the remote electronic voting introduced this year, Crimeans will still be able to vote for or another candidate directly at the polling stations. On the eve of the voting, all institutions involved in the election campaign were tested by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for compliance with fire safety requirements.
From August 10 to September 5, the state fire supervision authorities organized and carried out unscheduled control (supervisory) activities in relation to 336 objects, where 368 polling stations are located in order to comply with fire safety requirements.
As part of preventive visits, employees of the State Fire Supervision Service inspected the availability and serviceability of primary fire extinguishing equipment, compliance with the requirements of emergency exits, the presence and condition of automatic fire alarm installations and warning people in case of fire, checked the operation of manual fire detectors to launch a voice warning about a fire and automatically transmit a signal to the control panel fire dispatcher, as well as checked the maintenance of relevant documentation— reported in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Chemistry of Russia for the Republic of Crimea.
It is emphasized that no violations that pose a threat to legally protected values were found at the polling stations.
It should be noted that elections (of various levels) will be held on the territory of eight municipalities of the Republic of Crimea: the urban districts of Alushta, Simferopol, Sudak, Feodosia, Yalta, Bakhchisarai, Belogorsk and Simferopol districts. Specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia will be on duty at all polling stations, ensuring security.
