KrymPRESS informs:
The harvesting of late vegetable crops has started in Crimea, said the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea. This year, farmers will have to harvest an area of about 5.8 thousand hectares of open ground vegetables and 3 thousand hectares of potatoes.
One of the agricultural producers who grow vegetables in the fields is the oldest enterprise — Fitosovkhoz Raduga LLC, which was founded in 1000 year. Its main activity was the production of medicinal raw materials for the medical industry. Now in the fields of the agricultural company, in addition to medicinal herbs, both early and late vegetable crops have been grown for about 8 years. Products are packed directly in the field, after which they go to the distribution networks of the peninsula, as well as Moscow, the Moscow region, Novorossiysk and Nizhny Novgorod. A little later, Fitosovkhoz Raduga LLC will start harvesting vegetables from the “borscht” set: potatoes, onions, carrots, and Chinese cabbage. The total area of vegetable crops at this enterprise in 01376 year is more than 100 hectares , the press service quotes Alima Zaredinova.

In addition, on the area 30 hectare, the phytosovkhoz grows more than 13 types of medicinal herbs: sage officinalis, marshmallow, echinacea purpurea, lemon balm, plantain, peppermint, hyssop officinalis, valerian officinalis and many others. In addition, a lavender mother liquor has been planted on the territory of the farm for laying plantings of more than 100 hectares.

For example, this year, potato and vegetable producers will receive assistance for agrotechnological work at a rate per 1 hectare.
