In Crimea, the prosecutor’s office sent to court a criminal case on the theft of more than 1 million rubles from citizens under the pretext of making deals with cars. A 29-year-old resident of the Chernomorsky district is accused of committing 6 episodes of crimes under part 1 of Art. 2.3 Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud).
According to the investigation, in the fall of 2021, the attacker, under the pretext of providing intermediary services in the sale of BMW, Audi and Nissan cars, acquiring vehicles and registering ownership rights to them, received money from citizens. Thus, he stole over 1 million rubles from the inhabitants of the region, which he disposed of at his own discretion, without fulfilling his obligations. Man pleads guilty to alleged crimes— reported in the Crimean prosecutor’s office.
With the approved indictment, the criminal case was sent to the Simferopol District Court for consideration on the merits.
