In the Crimea — plener of artists from Moscow «I draw Russia»

From September 4 to September, a plein air of artists from Moscow “Drawing Russia” takes place in Crimea, which is carried out as part of a project supported by a grant from the President of the Russian Federation to support creative projects of national importance in the field of culture and art.
Participants of the plein air visited Yalta, Gurzuf, Alupka, Sevastopol (Tauric Chersonese and Balaklava) and other picturesque places of Crimea. The leader and author of the project is the artist and musician Yulia Labinskaya, director of the ANO Center for Cultural and Creative Development Art Pro. The curator of the group is Andrei Krivolapov, a well-known Moscow artist and teacher at the Stroganov Academy. In addition to plein air work, the project participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the Crimean artist Pavel Shumov, who held a master class and spoke about the Crimean plein air school and his gallery in Yalta , the organizers say.
The group is accompanied by well-known documentary filmmaker Yulia Guerra, who will create material about the trip and a film about the participants and events. Based on the results of the plein air, a series of exhibitions will be held in galleries in Moscow.
