Since the beginning of the year, 16 incidents have occurred at the water bodies of the Republic of Crimea, eight people died, including two children— he said.
According to Zraenko, among the dead children is a 16-year-old teenager who jumped from a cliff to the stormy sea, and a 15-year-old girl, drowned in the Simferopol reservoir last week.
Also, since the beginning of the year, 16 people were saved on the water, accidents with small vessels were not allowed.
The causes of incidents in the sea were most often a bathing in prohibited and unintentional places for this, entering the water at a state of intoxication and skiing on saps in a storm, the state inspector said.
In addition, this year, people were more than 70 times to the open sea on the CAP cars.
Zraenko called on tourists to rest only on official beaches. There are 352 of them in Crimea this year, more than 1050 sailors-rescuers are on duty on the shore.
