“Over the past few years, the essential oil industry of the republic has begun to revive and develop dynamically, including thanks to colossal state support. For example, this year an amount of 12.5 million rubles has been allocated for laying ether carriers. I emphasize that in connection with such assistance, the area of planting perennials in the republic annually increases, and the volume of harvested raw materials also increases,” the head of the Ministry of Agriculture noted.
On the territory of the republic there are a dozen agricultural enterprises engaged in the cultivation of essential oil crops such as rose, lavender and sage. The main agricultural enterprises involved in this area are LLC A / F Turgenevskaya, KFH Polyakova N.K., LLC Fitosovkhoz Raduga, LLC Lavanda, KFH Floreal and Alushta essential oil state farm plant.
At the moment, the area of perennial essential oil plants, such as essential oil rose, narrow-leaved lavender and sage, is more than 1.3 thousand hectares. Farmers expect a harvest no less than last year, which amounted to about 1.5 thousand tons of raw materials.
