In the Crimea, they handed the keys to the veterans of a special military operation to veterans

As Sergey Aksyonov emphasized, the military feat of each defender of the Motherland deserves deep respect.

The authorities of the republic will continue to implement a set of measures of comprehensive support for participants in a special military operation and members of their families. I thank the fighters for the courage, a firm position and resistance. This is our power— said the head of Crimea.

The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea Elena Romanovskaya, head of the branch of the State Fund of the Fatherland in the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Tregub.

REFERENCE. In 2024, the Federal Law on the Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities in the Russian Federation was amended, according to which the State Fund for support for participants in the special military operation “Defenders of the Fatherland” provides certain categories of participants with manual vehicles. Such categories include disabilities that move only in a wheelchair, and veterans with paired amputation, the prosthetics of which is impossible, or if, after prosthetics, they cannot independently move outside the dwelling.
