In the Crimean Shchelkino, work on the improvement of the second stage of the embankment has been completed

In the city of Shchelkino, large-scale work has been completed to create favorable conditions and update the necessary infrastructure of the embankment. A major renovation of the embankment and adjacent park in the southern part of the city started in April 2023. This stage is a continuation of previously completed work to improve the public area of ​​the coastal park. The amount of funds allocated for the renovation of the territory amounted to 124.4 million rubles. This territory was developed within the framework of the regional project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”. The object was chosen by residents as part of the annual All-Russian rating vote for the selection of public spaces.

The construction team’s specialists took a comprehensive approach to the improvement. The concept of the project was the functional zoning of the embankment area. Spaces have been created here for comfortable and active recreation of children, youth and the older generation.

To improve the appearance and ecological condition of the city, landscaping and an automatic watering system, installation of trash bins, sunbeds, hammocks and navigation were installed. An external lighting system, video surveillance and art objects also appeared here. At the same time, the recreation area is equipped with a number of different forms of designer swings and open benches.

An observation area has also been installed, which is equipped with swings, as well as sports and children’s playgrounds with a rubberized coating. Already today, people who live nearby, as well as guests of the city, use the modern embankment.

The updated embankment has become a beautiful and multifunctional place for recreation, where residents and guests of the city will be able to appreciate the created infrastructure and diversify their pastime.
