In the Crimean village of Youth, a stele was opened in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War

Also in the opening of the stele was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea Irina Kiviko, chairman of the Simferopol district council Svetlana Banar, head of the administration of the Simferopol district Sergey Petelin, local residents and students of MBOU Monozhnenskaya School No. 2.
The right to put the flowers to the new stele was granted to the veteran of the Great Patriotic War Nikolai Klimenko, who turned to the gathered youth with a speech. The culmination of his speech was the performance of the song “Spark” to the verses of Mikhail Isakovsky.
It is doubly pleasant to see when monuments are opened in new landscaped spaces to the feat of our people during the Great Patriotic War, such objects become the place of attraction of the inhabitants. The fact that our warriors are present here — a veteran of the Great Patriotic War and a special military operation, that for us all is a powerful symbol of the continuity of generations and the indestructible connection between those who defended freedom in the past, and those who protect it today— said in her speech Irina Kiviko.
In turn, the Hero of the Russian Federation Vladimir Manokhin emphasized the importance of preserving historical memory and expressed confidence in maintaining the traditions of the continuity of generations, as well as the education of youth in the spirit of patriotism and love for the motherland.
The opening of the stele was preceded by a lot of work on the improvement of the territory and landscaping: more than one and a half thousand flowers were planted in the composition symbols of the special military operation “Z”, “O”, “V”, with flowers framing in the form of a St. George tape.
