In the Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, employees of the duty units of the Internal Affairs Directorate were awarded certificates of honor and gratitude

The solemn ceremony was held in the hall of the Collegium of the Directorate in honor of the 105th anniversary of the formation of duty units in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The event was attended by Acting Chief of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, Police Colonel Alexander Mikhailov, deputy chiefs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs: Colonel of Justice Dmitry Kostyuk and Police Colonel Alexander Kraynyuk, Deputy Chief of Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Alexander Karachevtsev, as well as personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. As a guest of honor, there was a deputy of the Legislative Assembly, retired police lieutenant colonel Artyom Gordienko. Speaking to those present, Police Colonel Alexander Mikhailov noted the special importance of the work of duty units in the fight against crime and ensuring law and order:
First of all, citizens turn to the duty department of the internal affairs body with the hope of help. Not only the successful disclosure of a crime, but often the life of a person often depends on your quick and professional decisions, effective interaction with external services.
Alexander Mikhailov congratulated the employees on their professional holiday, thanked them for their selfless service and wished them further success in their careers. After reading the order of the Acting Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Alexander Mikhailov presented certificates of honor and gratitude from the Ministry of Internal Affairs to 15 employees of the duty units of the Directorate and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the districts of the city.
Artyom Gordienko, deputy of the City Legislative Assembly, congratulated the service on the day of formation. He wished the police officers good health, well-being, successful service activities and presented letters of thanks from the Legislative Assembly.
