In the Dzhankoy district, two men were convicted of selling stolen jewelry.
The court found that the convicts in October last year received from their acquaintance, who had previously been convicted, stolen gold and silver items worth more than 33 thousand rubles for subsequent sale. The convicts sold jewelry for 16 thousand rubles, and spent the proceeds at their own discretion,” the prosecutor’s office provided details.
The “resourceful traders” were detained by officers of the Dzhankoisky Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The court, taking into account the opinion of the state prosecutor, sentenced the men to 1 year and 6 months and 1 year and 9 months of suspended imprisonment with a probationary period of 1 year and 6 months each. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
