In the east of Crimea, the repair of the Chelyadinovo — Zavetnoye highway is being completed.

As part of the national project “Safe Quality Roads” in the Republic of Crimea, the repair of a section of the public intermunicipal road “Chelyadinovo — Zavetnoe” with a length of more than 13 km is being completed. As reported by the Ministry of Transport of Crimea, road workers have almost completed a set of repair and restoration work: milling, installation of curb stones, laying a leveling layer and asphalt concrete pavement. Work on installing road signs and markings is also being completed.

This is the only way from Kerch to Zavetnoye. It passes through three villages, and also along picturesque places — the Tobechik salt lake and a sandy beach. Residents and guests of the Kerch Peninsula regularly come here. However, the road has not been repaired for many years and has long been in need of repair,” the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Crimea emphasized.

The implementation of the national project “Safe Quality Roads” is designed to improve the quality of life of citizens. To this end, in addition to the direct repair work of road facilities, many measures are being implemented to modernize road infrastructure, ensure road safety and develop transport logistics in the regions. Many road facilities are located in rural areas. Repairing these areas, which have not been repaired for decades, provides comfortable and safe travel for local residents, improving the quality of life and even creating new jobs.

Thanks to the national project “Safe Quality Roads” in the Republic of Crimea, not only road facilities are being repaired, but also bridges, overpasses, and bypass roads of large cities. The complex of these measures ultimately makes the standard of living of Crimeans more comfortable both in big cities and in remote settlements.

The national project “Safe Quality Roads” in the Republic of Crimea has been implemented since 2019. This year, work is taking place at 53 sites, including 28 roads with a length of more than 200 km and 25 bridges and bridge structures with a length of 1092.76 linear meters. The customer for all objects is the State Public Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Rok Road Service”.
