In the Evpatoria village of Mirny, the dangerous ruins of a building where a teenager died were demolished

At the request of the prosecutor’s office, a dangerous ruined structure was dismantled in the village of Mirny near Yevpatoria. It was on these ruins in April died teenager.
It has been established that the city administration has not taken measures to identify and register ruined buildings in the village of Mirny, to ensure the protection of dangerous areas and to prevent accidents and injuries to people. As a result, in March of this year, a teenager was fatally injured as a result of a falling fragment of a ruined building. Due to the inaction of the city administration, the prosecutor’s office made a representation to the latter.
At the request of the prosecutor’s office, in June of this year, the area in the forest plantation near the ruined building was fenced off. Currently, the local government body has dismantled the said structure, including by eliminating the site of unauthorized waste disposal— said the prosecutor’s office.
The supervisory agency clarified: similar work is being carried out at other Crimean facilities.
