The Governor spoke about an important task — the modernization of the largest hydroelectric complex in Sevastopol with an increase in the capacity of supplying purified water to the city’s water supply system, as well as the construction of additional water conduits that will provide water to the southern part of Sevastopol, as well as Inkerman and Balaklava.

Regarding the issues of heat supply, the governor drew attention to the fact that most of the facilities in Sevastopol have been in operation for more than 40 years, the equipment is physically and morally obsolete, its wear and tear is about 70%.

To improve the efficiency of the heat supply system of Sevastopol, we need to decommission the old CHPP by building new block-modular gas boiler houses, and reconstruct (translate for gas) coal and fuel oil boiler house. Today, the degree of deterioration of the municipal infrastructure in the country as a whole varies within 60 percent.
