In the forests of the Republic of Crimea, restrictions on the stay of citizens in forests and entry of vehicles into them have been extended

Until August 7, 2024, restrictions on the presence of citizens in forests, the entry of vehicles into them, and the performance of certain types of work in forests in order to ensure fire safety have been extended.
In order to prevent the threat of emergency situations and ensure fire safety in the territory of the Republic of Crimea, by order Ministry of Ecology of Crimeafrom 18.07.2024 to 07.08.2024, the restriction on the presence of citizens in forests, the entry of vehicles into them, and the performance of certain types of work in forests in order to ensure fire safety has been extended.
According to the order, it is prohibited to make fires, carry out fire-hazardous work, work using open fire in forests and natural ecosystems, in adjacent territories, including burning logging residues and garbage, dry grass and household waste, agricultural burning and gas welding.
Visiting forests is restricted except places of rest citizens specified in Appendix No. 2 of the above-mentioned order, who are permitted to be used (visited) free of charge.
The restrictions specified in the order do not apply to persons carrying out activities related to the use of forests in accordance with current legislation, including persons using forest areas for the purpose of carrying out recreational activities (providing recreational services) and persons located in these recreational forest areas (receiving recreational services).
Let us recall that Since April 17, 2024, a special fire safety regime has been introduced on the peninsula.
