In the department of X-ray surgical methods of diagnosis and treatment of the GBUZ RK «Kerch City Hospital No. N. I. Pirogov, an expert-class diagnostic complex for ultrasound examinations was put into operation with the possibility of examining brachiocephalic vessels, aorta, inferior vena cava, performing transcarnial studies, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography.
Equipment worth more than 12 million rubles was purchased as part of the regional program «Fight against cardiovascular diseases» of the national project «Health». The delivered diagnostic complex for 2D visualization significantly expands the capabilities of the medical institution in providing both emergency care to patients with diseases of the cardiovascular system (stroke and heart attack) and patients in need of planned medical care— reported the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea.
The equipment allows for a qualitatively new level of cardiac examination: echocardiography, stress echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, examination of the aorta and its branches, preoperative and postoperative examination of the brachiocephalic arteries, iliac arteries and arteries of the extremities.
