In the Kherson region, the liquidation of emergency situations continues. Unfortunately, the death toll has risen.

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The number of victims of the terrorist attack perpetrated by the Kyiv regime in the Kherson region has increased. Previously reported about seven people who died as a result of the explosion of the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station and the shelling of temporary accommodation points (TAPs) by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Now the authorities call the number 12.

Unfortunately, the number of victims of Nazi sabotage is growing. In the morning, 12 dead were confirmed in Gola Pristan and 5 in Aleshkisaid in his Telegram channel head of the government of the Kherson region Andrey Alekseenko.

Over the past day, 107 people were evacuated from flood zones. In total, since the beginning of the flooding — 7.2 thousand, of which 421 are children and 123 people with limited mobility. 1.7 thousand were settled in temporary accommodation centers, 84 people were hospitalized.

The flood is weakening. The water level in the city of Alyoshki dropped to 0.4 meters, in the Naked Pristan — to 0.34 meters. In Novaya Kakhovka, it keeps at around 5 meters. 1.8 thousand houses freed from water, 21.4 thousand remain floodedtold Acting Governor of the Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo.

Another problem is related to drinking water.

Every day we take samples from different water sources in all areas of the emergency zone. Analyzes for all 9 wells selected in Golaya Pristan showed that it is impossible to drink it. Both bacteriologically and chemically, it is simply dangerous to health. Specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and water utilities have begun sanitation of networks, wells and wells. But for now, it is safe to use only bottled water for drinking and cooking. We are working to ensure that there is no shortage of water anywhere in the emergency zoneAndrey Alekseenko noted.

Even work in the emergency zone is extremely hampered by communication problems. Especially in the Aleshkinsky and Golopristansky districts. For a prompt solution, the authorities of the Kherson region asked for help from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation.
