In the Kirov region of Crimea, a resident of the region was sentenced to 7 years in prison for robbery. It was established that in June of this year, the defendant and his acquaintance, who fled from the pre-trial investigation authorities and was put on the federal wanted list, offered the victim to exchange currency, for which they went by car to one of the villages in the region.
The convict was driving the car; a second accomplice was sitting in the back seat with the victim, who struck the man several times with his fists along the way and, demonstrating a weapon, made a threat to cause life-threatening violence, firing a shot near the victim. The victim got out of the car, leaving his backpack with cash in the amount of more than 4.2 million rubles.,” the Crimean prosecutor’s office provided details.
The convict was detained by police officers.
The court sentenced the perpetrator to 7 years in prison. He will serve his sentence in a maximum security penal colony. The victim’s claim for compensation for damage caused by the crime was satisfied.
