In the Krasnogvardeisky district of Crimea, an alcoholic driver «with experience» tried to escape from traffic police officers

The duty unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnogvardeisky district received a message that a citizen in a state of intoxication was driving a car in the center of the village.

Employees of the State traffic inspectorate immediately arrived at the place where they found the car — «Volkswagen Polo» white. The driver ignored the lawful request to stop and tried to escape. During the chase, the police managed to detain the driver in a busy courtyard of apartment buildings. It was established that a 26-year-old resident of Sevastopol was driving the car. The police put forward a requirement to undergo a medical examination for intoxication on the spot, the driver refused. The detainee also refused to undergo a medical examination in a medical organization.— the details were announced in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Crimea.

Moreover, when checking against departmental databases, it was found that the driver was repeatedly prosecuted for committing such offenses, most recently in May 2023.

The Department of Inquiry of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnogvardeisky District is taking a number of measures on this fact, the results of which will make a decision in accordance with the law.
