In the Leninsky district of the Republic of Crimea, police seized more than one hundred and twenty bushes of drug -containing plants

Employees of the Office for Control of Drug Control of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Crimea, together with colleagues from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Leninsky district, was suppressed by the cultivation of drug -containing plants.

During the operational-search measures, a 38-year-old local resident was detained in one of the horticultural non-profit partnerships. The attacker grew plants of a cannabis group. At the same time, the owner equipped special rooms in the form of greenhouses in which the necessary temperature regime was maintained, an irrigation system was carried out, each bush grew in a separate plastic capacity. 128 plants were seized by operatives, which, according to the conclusion of a specialist in the forensic center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Crimea, contain a narcotic drug. As a result of the inspection of the scene, the police found and seized about 5 kg of parts of drug -containing plants ready for use. The seized substances of dark brown color, recognized by the drug with a drug with a total mass of more than five kilograms of two hundred seventy grams, -The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Crimea reported.

According to the detainee, he prepared forbidden substances for his own consumption. The man refused to undergo a medical examination on the basis of Part 1 of Art. 6.9 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (the consumption of narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances without prescribing a doctor or new potentially dangerous psychoactive substances) he was appointed administrative arrest for a period of fifteen days.

The inquiry department and the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Leninsky district against the suspect have been instituted criminal cases on the grounds of crimes under Part 1 of Art. 231 (illegal cultivation of plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances or their precursors), part 4 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal production, sale or shipping of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues, as well as illegal sales or shipping of plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, or their parts containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances). The defendant may face the maximum punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to twenty years.

The attacker has been chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention. The investigation continues.
