In the Nizhnegorsky region of Crimea, the court punished a violent “son” who tried to kill his own mother

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The prosecutor’s office of the Nizhnegorsky district of Crimea supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a local resident. He was found guilty of committing crimes under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 1 art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder), 1 Article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal possession without the purpose of selling parts of plants containing narcotic drugs in a significant amount).

During the trial, it was established that the man, having been repeatedly prosecuted for threatening to kill his mother, in the spring of 2023, while living with her at the place of residence, after drinking alcohol, began to strangle the latter, expressing intentions to take her life. The defendant’s illegal actions were stopped by a man living next door.

In the fall of 2022, an attacker along the railway tracks in the village of Nizhnegorsky plucked a bush of wild hemp, which he dried, tore off the leaves and stored for personal use.— said the prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea.

Taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, the defendant was sentenced to 6 years and 6 months in prison. He will serve his sentence in a maximum security penal colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
