In the Nizhnytorsk district, the police seized a large batch of marijuana and hazardous substances

As a result of conducting operational-search measures during a search of non-residential household, police seized six dried plant bushes, which, according to the expert’s conclusion, were recognized by the Marijuana drug plant weighing more than 2.3 kg. Also during the search, the police seized 17 cylindrical tubes. The results of the examination have shown that the investigated is an explosive of a throwing action of a total mass of 70 grams. According to the suspect, he tore off the bushes on one of the streets of his village for personal use, so he intended to get rid of alcohol dependence, and he found metal tubes in the Simferopol district and brought it home, without the purpose of marketing, -They note in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Crimea.

The investigation department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Nizhnyursky district defended the crimes under Part 2 of Art. 228 (illegal acquisition, storage, transportation of plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances, or their parts containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances) and part 1 of Art. 222.1 of the Criminal Code (illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation, shipping or wearing of explosives or explosive devices).

Currently, the materials of the criminal case have been transferred to the court for consideration on the merits.
