In the Novokahovsky District, the water level continues to decline. According to the Acting Governor of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, the water level in Novaya Kakhovka there has dropped to 7 m, and in the Aleshkinsky and Golopristansky districts — to 1.5 and 2.1 m, respectively. Already, flooded basements are being pumped out in Novaya Kakhovka, and utilities are working on the streets. Electricity supply and sewerage stations are also being restored there.
In addition, according to Saldo, right now there are about 1.5 thousand people in temporary accommodation centers (TACs), and in total almost 7 thousand people have been evacuated from the flooded areas. Over the past day, 902 people have been evacuated. 77 people from the affected territories were hospitalized in medical institutions of the region. Doctors provide them with all the necessary medical care.

Since June 7, 91 samples have been taken in these territories.
Rospotrebnadzor specialists continue monitoring the state of the environment in the Kherson region. Regular sampling of water is carried out for deviations from standard indicators— clarified the press service of Rospotrebnadzor.

Starting today, TAPs will begin issuing certificates to affected persons confirming the fact of living in the emergency zone, and all urgent work is being carried out without stopping, even despite the constant shelling of Ukrainian terrorists responsible for this tragedy.
In addition, Volodymyr Saldo signed a decree on payments to victims of man-made or natural emergencies in the Kherson region. In particular, the decree provides for a payment of 10,000 rubles per person, 50,000 rubles per person for partially lost essential property, and in case of complete loss, 100,000 rubles. Family members will be paid a one-time allowance in the amount of 1 million rubles if their family member dies, and those who have received harm to health — from 200 to 400 thousand rubles.
